In accordance with current legislation, the PVPUSD requires that software purchases include language to address California Assembly Bill 1584. The PVPUSD uses the resources of its legal counsel and insurance carrier to review software purchases and agreements.
The following list of software programs have been approved. The PVPUSD continues to update this list and items not listed may be under an existing agreement and in process of review for renewal. Compliance is required for software renewals or new purchases.

License Agreements and Contract Language
The PVPUSD includes compliance language in all purchasing agreements and contracts for software that uses any type of student Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This language was developed by PVPUSD legal counsel. Purchase agreements and contracts must be approved by the Board of Education.
