Spirit of Palos Verdes Awards

The Spirit of PV is awarded to teachers and staff members for contributions that align with the ideals of the teaching and education profession.  Teachers, administrators and support staff can award one of twenty stuffed peacocks to their peers to recognize anything that makes them special.  The goal is to recognize hundreds of deserving staff members each year at the most personal level.

Stacy Upton was awarded the first Spirit of PV recognition.  She is a stellar teacher at Cornerstone at Pedregal Elementary School and is loved by her peers, parents, and students.  Throughout this year, she has battled Cancer, teaching during the beginning of each week and receiving Chemotherapy on the back end.  She has shown us all that commitment to others is the healthiest and most powerful way of beating challenges.  We are proud of Stacy and all that she represents!
