my name's Ally gosk and my role is a TK assistant I have been working here as a yard Duty first August of 2017 until August 23 and then August 23 I started my role as TK assistant so I'm starting my ninth year total here I start here at about 7:30 in the morning and I start with drop off traffic for about a half hour which I love I love welcoming all the kids it's in the families in the morning I come in to class about 8:30 and I start prepping work for the day I help Miss Smith with the kids get them settled get their folders out lunch count that kind of thing and then we do centers and I'm very Hands-On with the kids and helping them with their skills learning skills actually and then we have lunch and the day goes by really fast they have free choice centers and I love spending time with them you know when they learn how to write their name when they learn how to make a shape it's so awesome just see the pride in their eyes and I just feel like their school mom and I'm so proud of them there's moments where parents have a hard time getting kids out of the car and I try to help with that 1 time there was a little boy who came out and he was crying and crying a few days later the dad came up and he told thank me so much and just told me that he was battling Place me and it was just hard for him to get his son out that first day of school so seeing just the family community around here just makes me so proud to see that and the interactions with the kids I mean the kids just make this such a special place how can they not I mean I just enjoy my job and I love coming here each day
