Bobby Joe Thompson distance learning Mentor teacher 17 years there's not a typical day because every child is different so it depends on um what's going on but I meet with kids all day long 1-on-1 through Zoom and um we go over their progress where they're at how they're doing if they have any questions about their work um if I need to help them with anything in between the meetings with the students I do study guides if they need study guides and I problem solve all their problems and um answer a lot of emails the evolution of the distance learning program itself because it existed before Co and we've been able to grow it into the palace Verdes um just learning academy and I think it's an important program and I'm proud of it because I believe it gives us the opportunity to work with students who need an out-of-the-box solution for their lives whether they're struggling with um emotional issues or their Elite athletes it allows them to be successful access the curriculum and just pursue their dreams and I love watching the kids be successful and thrive
