Teen Scene

Teen Scene welcomes intermediate school students to a convenient, supervised program where homework is a top priority! Time to complete school assignments is made available, with access to school computers and textbooks.

Students can join in both indoor and outdoor recreation, enjoy a variety of fun games, sports and activities, and spend some time with good friends, while making new ones.

For safety and convenience, Teen Scene centers are located on the Miraleste and Ridgecrest Intermediate School campuses.

  • After School Options for Grades 6-8
  • Full Day Camps during School Breaks for Grades 6-8 (Offered by PV Kids' Corner)

ENROLLMENT     Look for 2020-2021 Enrollment Information Later This Summer!

PVPUSD will be enrolling students for the Teen Scene Program at MIS, RIS and Lunada Bay to begin the 2020-2021 school year.

Once school has started, staff will review Teen Scene participation numbers. In the event that enrollment does not meet minimum requirements at a school site, the District will consider options which may include consolidation of a program. Families will receive advance notice of any proposed changes to the Teen Scene Program to allow time to address their after school childcare needs and consider options.

Teen Scene is a PVPUSD fee-based program that is intended to be self-supporting. Students must be enrolled in grades 6-8, at the same school as the Teen Scene center at which they are registered, with the exception of PVIS students.

The registration process may take up to five business days, whether enrolling in a monthly option or for emergency drop-in care, and is subject to availability. Emergency drop-in days are offered to preregistered students as space and staffing permit with 24-48 hours notice and Supervisor approval.
