Teacher Resources

  • General Resources
EQuIP Rubric - This is a fillable PDF used for vetting your current materials and lessons, as well as any new lessons you may find, for alignment with NGSS.  Below is a video that explains how to use the rubric.
#ProjectPhenomena - This is a website with different phenomena tied to specific Performance Expectations. NGSS is very much about tying science concepts to the real-world, and this can be done through the use of phenomena.
NGSS Storylines - Here are some sample storylines for constructing units through NGSS. Storylines provide a cohesive way of tying concepts together, integrating problem-solving and relating the topic to the real world.
