Hey there I'm Eric my name is Matthew follow this way I Hi I'm Matthew. I've been in this program for 3 years I volunteer at Terranea and TJ Maxx. At Terranea I do both silverware and the laundry room. I learn to be flexible and to be capable working with other people accept their understanding and no matter what kind stress there is always understand just keep earning your rights to freedom and make sure you do the best you can do whatever you can to make your bosses proud my name is Eric I'm a first-year student at TTI On my job sites I volunteer at Armstrong Terranea and Print Shop my favorite part about Print Shop is unwrapping jobs and everything and take them to schools and everything My name is Birdie Brown I am a Xerox on site support here for the Palos Verdes Unified School District since I've been here we've had the opportunity to work with some of the finest young people from the Transition Center.  Eric started out a little nervous because the responsibility is really important here, the teachers send us their work they need throughout the year so we have to be really responsible as far as make sure it gets to the right person make sure they have the right amount make sure no pages are missing it's really great I'm glad Tara started this program because the kids really get a chance to see how they are and in atmosphere more vocational. I think the community and businesses should open their doors up to special needs kids because they need an opportunity that ordinarily they wouldn't get. Their way of approaching the workforce is completely different than our way so we should give them a little picture of the doors open towards their direction and I think they would be so much more appreciative and they can realize that even with special needs I can contribute I can be a part. Can you get the folders one of them is mine Hi, my name is Megan and I'm a first-year student at TTI I volunteer at Palos Verdes Estates City Hall. What makes me a good employee I am helpful I am always smiling My name is Karina Banales and I am the assistant to the City Manager for the city of Palos Verdes Estates Megan is assisting the Human Resources office with the filing of personnel records the organization of documentation and the preservation of confidentiality for the Human Resources component what the program brings to institution of our city is a group of individuals that can primarily focus on one project at a time, it allows it to monitor our budget a little better our spending but also for the students to walk away with some pride and ownership htat now it works because I was able to organize it for the for the employees. What I've gained from TTI is that I am more comfortable in a job setting the staff member is fun to be with she's helpful, the transitional program is an additional group of students who are smart and ready.
