Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year!

hello and welcome back we are so excited to kick off the 202526 school year in just a few days I can't wait to see our classrooms and buildings filled once again with students and staff from our youngest transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students to our seniors beginning their final year of high school we're ready to welcome you all back to our brand new we ended last school year with Incredible momentum our high school students achieved exceptional results on their spring advanced placement exams more than 4,000 PVP USD students took at least 1 AP exam with a district-wide pass rate exceeding 80% looking ahead this year will be a year of progress not only for our students but for our schools and Facilities as well last year our community passed measure SOS a bond measure are aimed at addressing our most urgent facility needs while we have made great strides preparing for projects to start this year marks our first full year since measure SOS was approved thanks for your support we'll see you Ates this year that will benefit students now and for generations to come this year also marks an exciting Milestone it will be the first year of full transitional kindergarten or TK across our district we're thrilled to welcome are you youngest Learners into 20 classrooms across all of our elementary schools as we welcome these early Learners were also creating new opportunities to prepare high school students for future success will continue our focus on dual enrollment allowing students to take college level courses in partnership with Harbor College at the intermediate level we're expanding our AVID program by adding the seventh grade elective this will that our organization and college preparation skills for intermediate students and thanks to prop 28 funding all students will benefit from enhanced Visual and Performing Arts programming this includes a new vapa teacher dedicated K and K students and continued programs in dance visual arts and Performing Arts for our elementary students you can learn more by visiting our crop 28 Arts and Music in schools web page our first day of school is Wednesday August 20th and will follow a minimum Day schedule I can't wait to see everything our students teachers and staff will accomplish this year we're ready we're excited and we're looking forward to making this the best year yet welcome back
