Important update regarding Mutual of Omaha life insurance plans. If you are currently enrolled in a Voluntary Life/AD&D plan with Mutual of Omaha, now is your chance to increase your coverage if you wish to do so. You can increase your coverage by $10,000 (up to the maximum coverage limit) and do NOT have to undergo a health screening.If you need assistance, please contact the Employee Benefits office at (310) 896-3438.
Medical, Dental and Vision Open Enrollment
The “Open Enrollment” period for Medical, Dental and/or Vision Plans is September 10, 2018 through October 5, 2018 with changes effective January 1, 2019. You may add coverage or dependents during this period. Dependents may be deleted anytime.

Pharmacy Changes (as of January 1, 2017)
As of January 1, 2017, OptumRx became the Pharmacy Benefit Manager for a majority of CalPERS health plans. OptumRx replaced CVS/caremark in administering prescription drug benefits for about 486,000 CalPERS members and their families.
