The Educational Services division provides oversight, guidance, direction, and support for the athletic programs offered at both Palos Verdes High School (PVHS) and Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (PVPHS). The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District athletic program is an integral part of the learning process. Athletic competition strives to provide access for students to engage in the highest levels of athletic competition in a manner that represents the quality of our schools and school District. Our program is supportive of the student-athlete and honors the teacher-coach for their commitment to both the quality and the performance of our programs. Fostering integrity, sportsmanship, respect, leadership, and athletic safety are the essential qualities that make up the foundation of the athletic program.
The High School athletic programs are managed by a designated Athletic Director from within the school faculty who facilitate all of the daily operations for their respective athletic teams.
