Parents who suspect that their child may have a disability and in need of additional services should consult with their child's teacher and request a Student Success Team (SST) meeting. The SST meeting will assist in developing interventions, determining the appropriate actions to be taken to support their child's individualized needs, and if a special education assessment is needed.
If you have further questions and would like more information about the special education identification process, programs, and services, please contact the school psychologist at your child's school or the Student Services office at (310) 750-0551.
