The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District consistently ranks as one of the highest-performing school districts in California and across the nation. The Palos Verdes Peninsula is a collection of four cities, best known as just Palos Verdes or PV. As covered by US Today, the cities of Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, and Rolling Hills Estates are the "hidden, rural gems" of the Los Angeles Coastal Communities. Our school district's success is attributed to our strong partnerships and learning community contributions that directly impact the incredible students and staff, and elevate our positive working conditions.
The parent and community support for certificated and classified staff members is a key ingredient in the formula for success in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. Thanks to the generosity of these stakeholders, the students and staff have benefited from additional resources such as materials and supplies, technology, extra-curricular learning opportunities, and grants. These partnerships have enabled students and staff to be innovative and creative while developing nationally recognized programs and preparing students for college and career paths.
