Math 6 or Math 6 Accel to Math 7/8 Accel: Acceleration by Summer Bridge

Students seeking to enter or remain in the Math 7/8 Accelerated pathway at the completion of Math 6 or Math 6 Accel math may do so by meeting the placement protocol as shown below or by completing a request for placement form. In each case, it is highly recommended that students complete the PVPUSD Bridge to Math 7/8 Accel Independent Study Course.  

 

The Bridge to Math 7/8 Accel Independent Study Course was created to support student success in Math 7/8 Accel.  The Bridge to Math 7/8 Accelerated material is intended to provide support to students currently enrolled in Math 6 who have received the school recommendation for placement in Math 7/8 Accel or have completed a Request for Placement Form.  Material presented in this independent study course will cover the additional content taught in the Math 6 Accelerated course that is not covered in the Math 6 class.  For students who completed the Math 6 Accelerated course, the bridge materials will be review should you choose to use them.
