  • Feb 1:  Enrollment for 2024-25 opens at 9:00 a.m. for residents (Step 1, Online) 
  • High School selection for current or pre-enrolled 8th Grade students (Feb 1 – 29) 
  • Intermediate IntraDistrict Transfer Request Applications Accepted (Feb 1 – 29) 
  • Feb 3: Cornerstone Elementary School Open House @ 10 a.m Click here for more information 
  • Feb 8: Palos Verdes Peninsula High School Open House Event Click here for more information 
  • Feb 15: Enrollment Center visits VELA Campus for TK/K 2024-25 
  • Feb  16 - 19: Enrollment Center Closed in honor of Presidents' Day 
  • Feb 22: Enrollment Center visits MELA Campus for TK/K 2024-25 
  • Feb 29: Intermediate IntraDistrict Transfer Request window closes 
  • Feb 29: High School selection window closes 
 

March 

  • Mar 1: Cornerstone School Applications Accepted (Mar 1 – 31) 
  • Mar 1: Dual Immersion Applications Accepted (Mar 1 – 31)
  • Mar 4: High School Selection confirmation notification to parents 
  • Mar 6: Intermediate IntraDistrict Transfer Request Application status emailed to parents 
 

April 

  • Apr 8: InterDistrict applications available (Applications will be accepted through July 14th, 2024 for the 2024-25 school year) 
  • Apr 22: Cornerstone & Dual Immersion Lottery held Virtually @ 4 p.m. (live streamed on the PVPUSD website) 

  

May 

  • May 6: School Placement Confirmation for newly enrolled students emailed to parents (Enrollment completed from Feb 1 - Apr 30, 2024) 
  • Various Dates for school site Kindergarten Meet & Greet will be posted in the spring 
  • May 15: IntraDistrict Transfer Request window opens (May 15 - Jun 15) 
  • May 31: InterDistrict Permit Renewals/Validations Due

  • Aug 5: School placement confirmation for newly enrolled students emailed to parents (Enrollments completed May 1- Jul 31) 
  • Aug 5: IntraDistrict transfer request status emailed to parents 
  • Aug 15: Final InterDistrict Permit Application status mailed to Parents
